Could students emerge from the pandemic stronger? A Pearson survey of 4,000 parents of children ages 11–17 (and 2,000 college students) from Brazil, China, the United Kingdom, and the United States found that:
More than three out of four parents and college students say the pandemic has made people more caring.
83%of parents say their child is more aware of hardships faced by others.
More than three-quarters of parents expect their child to become more interested in social issues as a result of the pandemic.
77% of parents (and 80% of college students) believe the pandemic has made this generation of students more resilient.
