The New York Times has curated a series of mini-documentary films exploring race, identity, and bias to use as teaching tools in the classroom. The films, running from one to seven minutes, profile a range of different people and perspectives and are designed to provoke conversations and ideas. The series includes films about unconscious bias, conversations about race, an exploration of racist objects, and stories about American identity and citizenship. Teaching ideas are included to spark classroom lesson planning and discussion. Watch the mini-documentaries at bit.ly/MiniFilmsOnBias.
